Shani Jayanti Puja Vidhi

◉ On this day, get up in the morning and retire from bathing, etc.
◉ Offer oil, flower garlands and prasad on the idol of Shani Dev.
◉ Offer black urad and sesame seeds at their feet. After this, light the oil lamp and read Shani Chalisa.
◉ By observing a fast on this day, Bhagwan Shani gets special blessings.
◉ Feeding a poor person on the day of Shani Jayanti gives very auspicious results.

Shani Jayanti Mantra

On the day of Shani Jayanti, after worshiping, chant the following mantras. This chant should be at least 11 beads. Before starting the chant, light the oil lamp and face in the south direction.

ऊं शं अभयहस्ताय नमः
ऊं शं शनैश्चराय नमः
ऊं नीलांजनसमाभामसं रविपुत्रं यमाग्रजं छायामार्त्तण्डसंभूतं तं नमामि शनैश्चरम.
