चैतन्य महाप्रभु के आग्रह पर, श्री वृन्दावन धाम को पुनः प्रकट करने वाले श्रील सनातन गोस्वामी ने प्रथम मंदिर के रूप मे श्री राधा मदन मोहन मंदिर की स्थापना की थी। श्री श्री राधा-मदनमोहन जी का यह मंदिर, अभी के वृंदावन का सबसे प्राचीनतम मंदिर है। मंदिर के प्रमुख विग्रह मे श्री मदन गोपाल, श्री राधा रानी एवं प्रमुख सखी गोपी ललिता हैं।

Temple History
Maharaja Jai Singh brought Madana-Mohan to Jaipur from Vrindavan. His brother-in-law, Maharaja Gopal Singh, had a dream in which Madana-Mohan said `Take Me to Karoli.` He then told Maharaja Jai Singh about the dream and asked permission to bring Madana-Mohan to Karoli.
