Maharishi Valmiki is considered as the first poet of Sanskrit language. Saint Valmiki who originally written Ramayan. The Indian Valmiki society worships him in the form of Bhagwan.

This is the place where Mahatma Gandhi spent nearly 7-8 months in a room behind this temple. His resting pillows, bed and spinning wheel are preserved here.
