During Makar Sankranti, the dates from 16 January to 24 January 2024 are considered auspicious. According to Kameshwar Chaupal, trustee of the temple trust, the date of January 24 was initially chosen for the consecration. Meanwhile, temple trust treasurer Swami Govind Dev Giri contacted scholars and acharyas of Kashi and other monasteries and temples to get information about the most auspicious time. It was said that Bhagwan Shri Ram was born in Abhijeet Yoga. On other dates, this yoga was being formed for a short period whereas on January 22, this Abhijeet Yoga is of long duration. In such a situation, it was decided that this date would be the most appropriate. Kameshwar Chaupal said that under the direction of Swami Govind Dev Giri, all the rituals of consecration of Lord Ramlala will be performed by the learned Acharya on January 22. Its chief host will be Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Swami Govind Dev Giri is also the chairman of the High Power Committee formed for organizing religious rituals etc.
