Vihar Panchami: Huge Joy among devotees for Prakatyotsav of Banke Bihari (विहार पंचमी: बांकेबिहारी के प्राकट्योत्सव को लेकर भक्तों में जबरदस्त उत्साह)

Prakatyotsav Vihar Panchami of Thakur Banke Bihari will be celebrated on 17th December. On this day lakhs of devotees from all over the world will reach Vrindavan. After Vihar Panchami, a large number of devotees will come in the last days of the year also.On Vihar Panchami, on 17th December at 5 am, Mahabhishek of Prakatyotsav of Thakur Banke Bihari ji will be held with Panchamrit at Nidhivan Raj Temple. After this, Aarti will be performed by the sevayat’s of Prakatyasthali. With congratulatory singing by the devotees, the divine and grand procession will leave the temple at 8 am and will reach Banke Bihari Temple at 12 noon while touring the city. According to Ramayan, the marriage of Sita and Ram is believed to have taken place on this day in Treta Yuga. In Mithila region and Ayodhya, this date is famous as 'Vivah Panchami'.
