Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Jagdeshwar Dham in Almora and offered prayers. It is one of the popular tourist places which is situated at an altitude of about 6200 feet. There are about 224 stone temples in Jageshwar Dham. This place of worship is globally renowned for its spiritual significance and pure and breathtaking natural beauty.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday addressed a gathering in Pithoragarh after inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of several projects in Uttarakhand. Before this he also worshiped Adi Kailash at Parvati Kund in Pithoragarh.
