The special thing about today's adornment was that on the occasion of Ashadh Krishna Paksha Amavasya, the shape of a snake was created on the Shivalinga of Baba Mahakal in Bhasma Aarti. During this period thousands of devotees took advantage of the divine darshan of Baba Mahakal. Due to this, the entire temple complex resonated with the echo of Jai Shri Mahakal.

At Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple, Aditya Chaudhary of Chhindwara presented a silver umbrella to Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar Ji. Their total weight is 998.600 grams.
