Shri Vaishno Mata Vidya Mandir Bathinda: A 100 feet long ice cave is made on Janmashtami (श्री वैष्णो माता विद्या मंदिर बठिंडा: जन्माष्टमी पर 100 फीट लंबी बर्फ की गुफा बनाई जाती है)

Like every year, this year also the festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 7th September at Shri Vaishno Mata Vidya Mandir, Ajit Road Gali No. 8. Gopal Bansal, the head of the temple committee, said that on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, this time also a 100 feet long ice cave of Shri Baba Amarnath ji is made in the temple. He said that the buildings in the temple are decorated with lots of colorful lights.Along with this, Radha Krishna Bhagwan's Jhula, Salasar Baba Ji's court, Shiv Parivar, Ram Darbar along with the beautiful Jhankia of Shri Vaishno Mata's court were also decorated in the temple which is very attractive.

Shri Krishna's Birthday is Celebrated by Offering Makhan Mishri Prasad
Every year on Janmashtami, people from far and wide come to this temple with their families to visit the ice cave. While walking barefoot on the snow in the cave, people shout Jai Baba Amarnath Barfani, Bhukhe ko Arna aur Pyase ko Pani. Committee member Pankaj Jindal said that Bhagwan Shri Krishna's birthday is celebrated by offering Makhan Mishri Prashad to the god at 12 o'clock in the night.
