Shri Shani Shila Foundation Day celebrated in Jammu (जम्मू में श्री शनि शिला स्थापना दिवस मनाया गया)

Shree Laxmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust under the leadership of former minister Gulchain Singh Charak organized Shree "Shani Shila Sthapana Divas" at Shree Laxmi Narayan Mandir Complex Gandhi Nagar Jammu. A large number of devotees participated in the religious ceremony along with the mayor, corporator.The program began with Shree Ganesha and Navagriha Pujan followed by Havan/Yajna, Pushpa Abhishek and Shringar of Shri Shani Dev Ji by learned pundits along with temple priests, member trustees, special invitees and other prominent devotees. On this auspicious occasion Maha Aarti was organized after performing Purnahuti. Various religious scholars expressed their views about the Shani Shila "Replica of Shani Shingnapur Temple in Maharashtra" and prayed for the blessings of Bhgawan Shani Dev.

Ashwani Kumar Shastri threw light on the methods of Shani Puja and informed the people present. He told that Shani Dev's evil eye is considered to be the cause of sorrow, dullness, laziness, failure, poverty, delay and other adversities. He also explained about the different arrangements made in the "Shri Yantra" and "Nav Griha Mandir" in the premises for worshiping Shri Shanidev ji and other houses in a proper manner.
