Shri Krishna Janmashtami celebrated in Uttarakhand Badrinath temple decorated with flowers (उत्तराखंड में श्री कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी की धूम, फूलों से सजा बदरीनाथ मंदिर)

Before the festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami in Shri Badrinath Dham, the temple has been decorated with flowers. Bhajan Kirtan evening will also be organized at Badrinath temple on the eve of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. Dr. Harish Gaur, media in-charge of Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee, said that the temple committee has made extensive preparations for Janmashtami. Shri Badrinath Temple is decorated with flowers.The idol is installed on Janmashtami
Temple priest Janaki Prasad Sati says that due to fear of theft, he keeps the idol at home and places it in the temple on the festival of Janmashtami. Also, on the morning of Janmashtami, the original idol of the snake (Naag Chhadi) is placed in the temple with all the villagers barefoot along with drums and bhajan and kirtan evening is organized throughout the day. And after the end of the festival, worship is done by taking the Nag Chhadi back to the village.

Thousands of pilgrims are reaching Shri Badrinath Dham in view of Janmashtami.
