Gorakshpeeth, the penance place of Shivavtar Guru Gorakhnath, the founder of Nath Panth, is ready for the worship of Mother Adishakti. On Thursday, October 3, the Pratipada of Shardiya Navratri, Gorakshpeethadhishwar and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will install the Kalash in the Shakti temple at 5 pm in the Gorakhnath temple. With this, a ten-day special ritual will begin.
Gorakshpeethadhishwar will worship Kanya on Mahanavami
On October 11, Friday, along with the fast on the Mahanavami date of Shardiya Navratri, Gorakshpeethadhishwar and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will worship the Kumari girls by washing their feet from 11 am. On this occasion, a feast will also be organized for motherly girls and Gorakshpeethadhishwar will present them Dakshina and gifts. Some children will also participate in this worship ritual in the form of Batuk Bhairav.
Navratri 2024 rituals in Gorakhnath Temple
❀ 3 October, Thursday: Start of Navratri and installation of Kalash, 5 pm
❀ 10th October, Thursday: Nisha Puja and Havan, 7 pm
❀ October 11, Friday: Mahanavami fast, worship and feast of virgin girls, 11 am
❀ October 12, Saturday (Vijayadashami): Special worship of Shrinath ji and worship of the deities located in the temple premises at 9:15 am. Tilakotsav program from 1 pm to 3 pm. Procession from Gorakhnath Temple to Mansarovar Temple, worship of deities in Andhiyari Bagh from 4 pm.
