Shahi Sawari of Ujjain Mahakal: Mahakal will visit the city six more times, two royal rides will come out in more months, Shravan and Bhado (उज्जैन महाकाल की शाही सवारी: छह बार और नगर भ्रमण करेंगे महाकाल, अधिक मास श्रावण और भादो में निकलेंगी दो शाही सवारियां)

Devotees from all over the country are visting the religious city of Ujjain to have darshan of Baba Mahakal as well as in other temples. Baba Mahakal himself visits the city in the month of Sawan and Bhado and knows the condition of his subjects. Four royal rides of Baba Mahakal have left. At the same time, two rides are yet to be taken out in the month of Adhikamas, Sawan and Bhado. That is, Baba Mahakal will go on a city tour six more times in a palanquin.The royal ride will take place on August 7 and August 14 during Adhikamas. After this, the riders of Shukla Paksha of Shravan month will come.

According to Pt. Abhishek Sharma, priest of the Mahakal temple, the number of riders of Mahakal has increased to 10 this time due to more months. Since the commencement of the month of Shravan and the commencement of Adhikamas, till now four rides have taken place in the city. The fifth ride will start on August 7 and the sixth ride on August 14. Adhikamas will end on 16 August. Shukla Paksha of Shravan month will start from 17th August. After this, the seventh ride will come in Shravan Shukla on 21 August. Then the eighth ride will take place on 28th August. Baba's ninth ride in Bhado month will be taken out on September 4 and the tenth and last royal ride will be taken out on September 11 with pomp.
