Keeping in view the nine days of summer, the dress of Bhagwan Shri Ramlala has also been changed. At this time, Ram Lala is dressed in clothes decorated with the traditional tie-dye method of Bandhej, Batik and Shibori handicrafts on light cotton muslin. It has been prepared by 1500 labor willing women from groups of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand. To provide relief to Shri Ram Lalla from the scorching heat, a cooler has also been installed and the Prasad has also been changed according to the weather.
The Bhagwan is wearing a dress made of Kalamkari of Andhra Pradesh and the world famous Pochampalli cotton fabric of Telangana state. Apart from this, cotton Jamdani from Bengal and Sambalpuri cloth from Orissa are also being used in the upcoming attire of the Bhagwan. Manish Tripathi, who designs and sends the Bhagwan's attire from Delhi every day since the day of Abhishek, is engaged in this sacred work along with his entire team.
This costume design is done only after discussion and constant touch with the temple administration and priests. In which full care is taken of the color and weather of the day. Chief Archak of Shri Ram Lala, Satyendra Das Maharaj says that in view of the scorching heat, along with adorning the Bhagwan, the weather is also kept in mind while offering food.
