Spiritual guru Mahant Swami Maharaj of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha arrived in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday for the grand inauguration of the first Hindu temple in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the temple on February 14, a few days after the consecration of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya.Mahant Swami Maharaj was warmly welcomed as a state guest by Sheikh Nahyan Mabarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance of the UAE. Welcoming the spiritual leader, the minister said, "Welcome to the UAE. Our country is blessed by your presence. We are touched by your kindness and we feel your prayers.

Prime Minister Modi is going to inaugurate the temple on February 14 in the presence of saints, swamis and thousands of devotees. More than 50,000 people are likely to be in attendance at the event.
