Madhya Pradesh's largest Ravidas temple will be built at Badtuma in Sagar. Sant Ravidas temple will be constructed on 11 acres of land at a cost of 100 crores.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit is proposed on August 12 in the Bhoomi Poojan program of Sant Ravidas Temple. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform Bhoomi Pujan of Sant Ravidas temple. Sant Ravidas temple will be made grand in Nagara style. The temple will be constructed on an area of 10,000 square feet.
The museum and devotee residence will be constructed along with the temple:
Along with the Sant Ravidas temple, a museum will be constructed to display Ravidas ji's philosophy.
The museum will be constructed in 14000 square feet. Four galleries will be made in the museum, which will include literature depicting the path of Bhakti, Nirgun Panth, the life of Sant Ravidas Maharaj. Apart from this, a compilation of all the literature of Ravidas ji's Bhakti Marg, philosophical thoughts will be made available in the library and Sangat Hall. So that the devotees coming here can recite them. A 12,000 square feet devotee's residence will be constructed in the temple premises, so that the devotees coming here can get facilities. 15 rooms will be made in Bhakt Niwas. Which will be equipped with all the facilities. A hostel will also be constructed there. There will be arrangements for entrance, parking, CCTV etc. for lighting in the temple premises.
