Kashi Vishwanath Dham: Now Laddu Gopal will give darshan in Vishwanath Dham till Shashthi (काशी विश्वनाथ धाम: अब षष्ठी तक विश्वनाथ धाम में दर्शन देंगे लड्डू गोपाल)

For the first time on Shri Krishna Janmashtami, Laddu Gopal and Baba Vishwanath appeared together to the devotees. This sequence will now continue till Shashthi.Under the innovations of Srikashi Vishwanath Temple Trust, the sanctum sanctorum of the temple remained open for darshan and worship throughout the night on Monday on Shri Krishna Janmashtami, organized for the first time in the Dham. From Monday itself, darshan and worship of Laddu Gopal was done in Baba Dham with raga, bhog, adornment etc. After Shayan Aarti, Laddu Gopal was to bid farewell, but the archakas of the temple did not consider it as per the scriptures to bid farewell to Laddu Gopal in child form. After this it was decided that the laddus would remain in Gopal Dham only till Shashthi.

Now the celebration of Shri Krishna's birth anniversary will be celebrated for six days. Following the Sanatan tradition, after Shashthi Tithi, it will conclude with the worship of Laddu Gopal and the ritual of assuming the form of Vishnu again.
