Kapat of Kedarnath and Gangotri-Yamunotri Opened for Devotees (केदारनाथ और गंगोत्री-यमुनोत्री के कपाट श्रद्धालुओं के लिए खुले)

Char Dham Yatra has started as soon as the doors of Kedarnath Dham opened on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. After six months of winter vacation, the doors of Shri Kedarnath Dham have been opened for the common devotees today at 7 am with Vedic chanting and rituals. The Panchmukhi Doli of Bhagwan Kedarnath reached Shri Kedarnath Dham on Thursday evening with the devotional cheers of the Army Band, after which Bhagwan Kedarnath has been giving darshan to the devotees since this morning. At the same time, preparations for opening the doors of Badrinath on May 12 are also in full swing.Today the doors of Yamunotri Dham have been opened at 10.29 am and the doors of Gangotri Dham will be opened at 12.20 am. Kedarnath temple has been lavishly decorated with 20 quintals of flowers. Hundreds of devotees from India and abroad have reached Kedarnath in Doli Yatra to have darshan of Bhagwan Kedarnath. Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami was also present on this occasion. Every year lakhs of devotees come here to see Baba. The Shivalinga installed in Kedarnath temple is Swayambhu. Kedarnath Dham is also counted among the Twelve Jyotirlingas of Bhagwan Shiva.
