The birth of Bhagwan Shri Krishna will be celebrated with great pomp in Mumbai ISKCON on Monday. The temple is decorated with flowers and lights. Cultural programs have also been arranged.
Special worship will be done in the temple. In the night, Mahabhishek of Bhagwan Shri Krishna will be done with 108 Kalash and 108 Aarti will be performed. Apart from this, a series of religious programs will also be organised, which include Shri Krishna Leela, Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, Kirtan and discourse. The pastimes of Bhagwan Shri Krishna will be depicted through tableaux and arrangements will be made to distribute Prasad among the devotees.
There will be a confluence of devotion and music
Religious institutions have also organized many cultural programs to make the festival of Janmashtami grand. These events include performances by famous singers and artists.
