The construction of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya is in full swing and is expected to be completed by January next year. In a video shared by news agency ANI, workers can be seen giving final touches to the carvings on the temple building.
The foundation stone of the temple was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 5, 2020 and the construction of the foundation has been completed.The ruling BJP, which promised the construction of the temple in its 2019 manifesto, said the temple is likely to be opened for devotees just before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
The first phase of construction of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya will be completed in December 2023, and Lord Ram will be installed in January 2024. Swami Vivekananda Jagruti Samiti and Hanuman Granites supplied 10,000 granite stone pillars for the temple.
