Gorakhnath Temple: Faith increased in Gorakhnath Temple on Budhwa Mangal (गोरखनाथ मंदिर: बुढ़वा मंगल पर गोरखनाथ मंदिर में उमड़ी आस्था)

A crowd of devotees gathered at Gorakhnath temple on Budhwa Mangal, the second Tuesday of Makar Sankranti. Devotees worshiped Guru Gorakhnath and offered the kalash of faith. As the day progressed, the crowd of devotees also increased. The process of offering Khichdi to Baba continued till late evening. The importance of running Khichdi on Budhwa Mangal is similar to that of Makar Sankranti.In such a situation, the devotees who are not able to offer Khichdi on Makar Sankranti, perform this ritual on the day of Budhwa Mangal. On this occasion, the district administration had made elaborate arrangements to control the crowd and protect them. Temple volunteers were helping the devotees.
