Dhar Bhojshala: Many Idols Including devi, Ganeshji, Hanumanji Were Found during Excavation (धार भोजशाला: खुदाई में निकली देवी, गणेशजी, हनुमानजी समेत कई मूर्तियां मिलीं)

ASI survey of Bhojshala is going on in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. On the 80th day of the survey, idols of Bhagwan Ganesh, Maa Vagdevi, Maa Parvati, Hanumanji and other goddesses were found in a closed room under the stairs. Along with this, about 79 remains including conch-chakra and shikhara with traditional shapes have been found. This 8 by 10 feet room was opened in the presence of both the parties. The petitioner from Hindu Front for Justice called it the biggest achievement till date for Bhojshala to get certified. The Muslim party said that all these things were kept here later.What is the Bhojshala controversy?
According to the official website of Dhar district, Bhojshala temple was built by Raja Bhoj. Raja Bhoj was a great king of the Parmar dynasty who ruled from 1000 to 1055 AD. It is said that in 1305 AD, Alauddin Khilji attacked Bhojshala and in 1401 AD, Dilwar Khan Gauri built a mosque in one part of Bhojshala and in 1514 AD, Mahmood Shah Khilji built a mosque in the other part. When excavations were carried out here in the 19th century, the statue of Goddess Saraswati was found which the British took with them. This statue is currently in the Museum of London. There is also a dispute going on to bring this statue back to India. After the independence of the country, controversy regarding worship and namaz in Bhojshala started increasing. The court has just given permission to Hindus to worship with entry on Tuesday and to Muslims to offer namaz in the premises on Friday. Whenever Basant Panchami falls on Friday, the controversy increases. Both the parties dispute for their worship and namaz. Now ASI survey is going on here on the orders of the court.
