Kashi: Devotees took bath in Ganga in Kashi on Vaishakh Purnima (काशी: वैशाख पूर्णिमा पर काशी में श्रद्धालुओं ने गंगा स्नान किया)

The festival of Vaishakh Purnima is being celebrated with great pomp in Kashi today. Since Thursday morning, crowds of devotees have gathered to take bath in the Ganga at all the major ghats including Dashashwamedh Ghat of Kashi. Since early morning, devotees are taking bath in Ganga and doing charity. The Water Police and NDRF team are alert regarding the safety of the devotees who came to bathe in the Ganga.

Various rituals are also being performed in the temples of the city on Vaishakh Purnima.
