In Gorakhpur, Chief Minister and Gorakshpeethadhishwar, Yogi Adityanath on Sunday did pran pratistha of nine deities in the
Gorakhnath temple. This ritual of Pran Pratishtha was completed with the full offering of Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mahayagya and Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Katha Gyan Yagya.
On this occasion, Gorakshpeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath worshiped Vyas Peeth and performed aarti.The religious ritual of consecration of the idols of deities in the nine new temples built in the Gorakhnath temple started in two phases on May 8 itself. In the first phase, the story of Shri Shivmahapuran took place and in the second phase, Shri Laxminarayan Mahayagya and Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Katha Gyanayagya were organized from May 15. On
May 21, the Chief Minister performed the Purnahuti of Shri Lakshminarayan Mahayagya and worshiped the gods and goddesses amidst the chanting of Vedic hymns.
The entire temple complex reverberated with devotional chants as the idols of the deities were unveiled by Gorakshpeethadhishwara amidst devotional tunes on various instruments and bands. On this occasion, Yogi Adityanath requested all the people to lay emphasis on cleanliness in the temples as well. On the occasion of Pran Pratishtha, a huge Bhandara was also organized in the Gorakhnath temple premises. A large number of devotees took the prasad in this.
A large number of saints and devotees were present on this occasion. The CM also honored the craftsmen and architects.
CM Yogi consecrated these newly constructed temples Hanuman Mandir, Ram Darbar, Radhakrishna, Dashavatar Vishnu, Navagraha Mandir, Santoshi Mata, Chhathi Mata, Hatthi Mata and Bal Devi.
