In Uttar Pradesh, the government is preparing major places for tourists.
Bateshwar Dham, famous for the series of Shiva temples located on the banks of the Yamuna, will be developed. Along with the laser show, a memorial will be constructed at the ancestral place of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.For the development of Bateshwar Dham, the Yogi government will spend Rs 75 crore on these schemes. Estimate is being prepared by the tourism department from the architect. Cattle fair held in Bateshwar in the month of Kartik is famous all over North India. The state government is developing Bateshwar as a religious tourist destination.
The memories of former Prime Minister Vajpayee are being cherished
The memory of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee is also being cherished. Tourism development work has been done at his native place with a sum of Rs 3.88 crore.
Here work is underway on a Rs 7.88 crore plan for tourism development and beautification of Bateshwar Dham. The ghats are being beautified. Tourism facilities are being developed at the Jain pilgrimage site Shouripur. Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh, who came to Agra on Sunday, informed about the plans related to the development of Bateshwar at the felicitation ceremony organized by the Hotel and Restaurant Association.
