Kamada Ekadashi is being celebrated with great pomp on Friday in Vrindavan, the pilgrimage city of Mathura. On Friday, on the Ekadashi of Chaitra Shukla, the first grand flower bungalow was decorated in Shri Banke Bihari Temple.
The temple will be decorated with flowers in the morning and evening for 107 days continuously.According to the ancient religious tradition of Shri Banke Bihari Temple, coolness will be provided to Thakur ji from Kamada Ekadashi of Hindi month Chaitra. For this, divine tableaux and bungalows of different types of flowers, dry fruits, fruits etc. will be made. With this, the service of providing coolness to Thakur ji will be started.
The tradition of serving with flowers and creepers has been going on since ancient times. Now this tradition has taken the form of flower bungalows.
From Kamada Ekadashi on Friday, 19th April till the new moon day of Sawan month on 4th August, the Lord will be decorated with fragrant flowers.If you love this news please
