Baba Mahakaleshwar Decorated in form of Bhagwan Ganesh in Bhasma Aarti (भस्म आरती में भगवान गणेश के स्वरूप में सजे श्री महाकालेश्वर)

The Bhasma Aarti of Baba Mahakal was performed with great pomp in the world famous Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple today at 3 am on Wednesday, on the Dashami of Bhadrapada Krishna Paksha. The doors of the temple were opened with the permission of Bhagwan Virbhadra and Manbhadra. First of all, the Bhagwan was bathed and along with Panchamrit Abhishek, water laced with saffron was offered. After this, Baba Mahakal was decorated in the form of Shri Ganesh with hemp and dry fruits. After adorning the Bhagwan, he was made to wear a new crown and then ashes were offered to Baba Mahakal. Devotees witnessed the divine Bhasma Aarti of Baba Mahakal from Nandi Hall and Ganesh Mandapam.A devotee of Ujjain presented a check of Rs 5 lakh 51 thousand for the development work at Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple.
