Today at Shri Mahakaleshwar Mandir as, on the Dashami Tithi of Vaisakh Krishna Paksha, during the Bhasma Aarti early on Friday, as soon as the doors of the temple opened at 4 o'clock, priest worshiped the idols in the sanctum. Jalabhishek of Bhagwan Mahakal was performed and worshiped with Panchamrit.The special thing about today's Bhasma Aarti, Baba Mahakal was decorated with worship materials and given supernatural makeup with Trinetra and Tripund and Mogra Garland. After the adornment, the Jyotirlinga of Baba Mahakal was covered with a cloth and ashes were also offered. During this period thousands of devotees took advantage of the divine darshan of Baba Mahakal. Due to which the entire temple complex resonated with the echo of Jai Shri Mahakal.
