Ayodhya News: First Ram Stambh Reaches Ayodhya From Rajasthan (अयोध्या समाचार: पहला राम स्तंभ राजस्थान से अयोध्या पहुंचा)

The 15-feet high and 2.5-feet wide Ram Stambh has traveled 1,200 kilometers from Mount Abu in Rajasthan to Karsevakpuram in Ayodhya. This pillar will soon find its place on Maniparvat in Ayodhya. These pillars, decorated with carvings of bows, arrows and four-foot brass flags, depict deep symbolism from Valmiki Ramayan.The foundation has identified 290 places during Lord Ram's journey from Ayodhya to Rameshwaram, where similar Ram pillars will be installed. Altogether, 290 such pillars will grace the route taken by Lord Ram from Ayodhya to Rameshwaram. To ensure their longevity, these pillars will be specially coated, designed to last for 1,000 years.

They mark the "Ram Van Gaman Marg", the route taken by Lord Rama, Goddess Sita and Lakshmana during their exile from Ayodhya to Sri Lanka. After 40 years of dedicated research, Shri Ram Sanskritik Shodh Sansthan Trust has identified these 290 places.

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust general secretary Champat Rai confirmed that the Ashok Singhal Foundation will install Ram pillars at each of these places.
