The upcoming Deepotsav in Ayodhya sounds truly spectacular and historic! From October 28th to 31st, the city will be illuminated with over 25 lakh lamps across various ghats, including Ram Ki Paidi and Naya Ghat. This year’s celebrations are set to be even more grand with modern lighting, laser shows, and fireworks, marking a significant occasion after the establishment of the Shri Vigraha of Ramlala.
Ayodhya's transformation from a long period of struggle to a revival of its ancient glory is highlighted through these festivities. Since 2017, the Saryu Ghat has been a central feature during Diwali, showcasing a record number of lamps. This year’s Deepotsav is particularly special as it will be the 8th edition of the event under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision, and the first since the establishment of Ramlala’s idol.
This event not only celebrates the cultural and spiritual significance of Ayodhya but also symbolizes a new chapter in its historical legacy. It’s a great example of how tradition and modernity can come together to create something truly memorable.
