History

» Brahma ji had performed penance at Yaugni Pura place.
» Siddha Peeth is considered only where God himself has established that Peeth with his lotus flowers. The remaining others do not come under the definition of Siddha Peetha.
» Jyotisha Peetha originated during the Pandava period. The entire place of Yogani is the place to attain Buddhist knowledge according to the Puranas. That is, the place where it is suitable for knowledge, worship and penance and there is no adverse effect of any external power in that area and the worship is complete, it is considered to be such a secret place.
» This Shakti Peeth was once the center of Tantra Vidya for some reasons. This Peetha is also called Yogpeeth. Because in the ancient times, this place has been called the “Nigam Bodh” area in the Puranas and Upanishads, that is, where the understanding of knowledge is the area of tapasya-yoga practice.
» When Lord Shri Krishna established the Pindi at this place, he chanted this Beej Mantra for that Trigunmayi Prameshwari.
» The remains of that time that emerge in the ruins clearly indicate that these ruins must have once been the palace of Prathviraj Chauhan. Devotees used to bathe in Anangpal pond and worship Yogamaya ji. When there was no water in that pond, the devotees started facing difficulties, so a well was built along with the temple.
