Shri Vishnu Shiva Temple, Canberra is managed by the Australia Incorporated Temple Society, a non-profit society incorporated in 1989. The society had been in existence informally since 1979 and took a pledge to build the temple in 1986.
The Maha Kumbhbhishek was organized in the presence of the Honorable John Howard MP, Prime Minister of Australia. Which was published in national and international media.
