Sri Shiva Shakti Sankranti Temple, dedicated to Bhagwan Shiva, Mata Adishakti and Makar Sankranti. In Vasundhara this is the largest Shiva-Shakti temple.
The temple was established in the period of 2001 with the sadhna of the local devotees of Vasundhara sub-city. It is the result of the tenacity of the present priest of the temple, Pandit Lakshmikant Dwivedi ji (7042231046), that the divinity of the temple complex is increasing day by day.
The two sacred trees at the main entrance of the temple establish the Peepal bhagwan Shri Vasudev on the right and the Vat tree Sankhat Bhagwan Bholenath on the left. Therefore, upon entering the temple, the devotees begin to feel the divinity spread in the atmosphere here.
Seeing the temple of Mata Sheetla on the left as soon as she came in from the entrance and the hue of colorful flowers around it, even the cameras of Bhakti-India could not stop themselves. The shrine of Bhawgan Shiva installed at the right elevation of the temple, followed by Shri Shani Dham and the Navagraha Dham surrounded by lush green groves, is just to be cherished.
On Janmashtami raslila is organized by famous artists of Vrindavan, both Shivaratri and Navratri are celebrated here with grand way. In the temple premises, Mahila Sankirtan is organized on every Monday, Purnima and Ekadashi from 5 to 6:30 pm and on every Tuesday from 8 - 9 pm, Amrit Vani recitation is conducted.
The greenery, trees and plants spread around the temple and the many types of flowers worn on them, make the atmosphere of the temple even more fragrant and captivating. The facility of residence of 5-7 Brahmins is also available in the temple. The temple also organizes donations and other facilities for the poor.
