Devotees know this temple as the name of Shiv Balaknath Temple, starting from Shri Baba Balak Nath Siddhpeeth, the temple of Bhagwan Shiv. In the present day, this temple is a mixed form of Bhagwan Surya, Maa Bhagwati, Baba Balaknathji, Shivalaya and Jagannath Dham.

The annual festival of Baba Balak Nath Siddhapeeth is celebrated in the month of November in collaboration with Himachal Bandhu Sabha Mayur Vihar, under which a 10-km Shobha Yatra and after that Bhog Bhandare is organized. This annual festival is celebrated by Himachali culture with great pomp for two days.

On every Sunday of the week, bhajan-kirtan of Paunhari Baba Shri Balaknath Ji is also organized here.
