Pavitra Mata Santoshi Temple of Hari Nagar was established on 3 July 1981 by Satguru Shri Shamsher Bahadur Saxena ji and his wife Satguru Maa Smt. Kanta Saxena ji. The temple of Hari Nagar has been established with the inspiration of Jodhpur Santoshi Mata Temple. Which is located in the famous lake called the very old Red Sea surrounded by mountains.

In the temple garbhagriha, three Devis, Maa Vaishno, Maa Santoshi and Maa Saraswati are seated respectively. Shri Hanumant Lal is present at the left door of Garbhagraha continuously ready to serve these three Devi`s. Three Devi`s in the temple together in the garbhagriha, seems similar to the Mahalakshmi temples in Mumbai and Pune.
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji is considered to be an incarnation of the three highest energies, namely, Maa Mahakali, Maa Mahalakshmi and Maa Mahasaraswati. The Ashtadhatu statue of Maa Santoshi is the largest in Asia. Devotees can get darshan of this form of Mata only on Fridays and all other festivals of the temple.
Mata Santoshi`s chowki in the temple is held at 6:00 pm on Friday and at 9:00 pm on Sunday and Devi Vaishon`s chowki held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, under which Devotees worship Mata with peace of mind.
Bhandare is organized on every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday for all the devotees. The temple is open 24 hours a day during the Navratri. Ashtadhatu idol installation day is celebrated every year on the nine February.
