Historical truth
A historical truth is also associated with the Pitambara Peeth temple. In 1962, China attacked India. Then a yogi asked Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru to meet Swami Maharaj. Swami Maharaj spoke of performing a 51 Kundiya Mahayagya in the interest of the nation.
On the ninth day of the yagna, when the yagya was about to end, Nehru received a message from the 'United Nations' that China had stopped the attack, and on the 11th day, with the last sacrifice, China had withdrawn its forces.
That yagyashala still remains in the temple courtyard. Similarly, in the Indo-Pakistan war of 1965 and 1971 also, here again sadhanas and yagyas were performed secretly.
