Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple of Mahadev going from Jadudwara towards Sirsaganj city is one of the ancient and famous in Sirsaganj. Similar to Shri Somnath Jyotirlinga, the huge Shiva lingam of about 4.5 feet high of Bhagwan Shiva is accessible to devotees for darshan elsewhere in India.

Balaji Sirsaganj is situated at a distance of 200 meters from here. Mahashivratri and Sawan Shivratri are the festivals celebrated in a grand way in the temple. Devotees throng the temple with great reverence and devotion on the Mondays of Sawan falling under the holy month of Bhagwan Shiva.
