The Kali Mandir is also known as Purnamasi Kalratri Temple. Due to the establishment of the temple on the full moon day (purnima) it is known as Kalratri Temple, while maa Kali is also known as Kalratri. But among the people, this temple is called by the name of Kali Mandir.
This huge courtyard temple of Mata Kali in the Sikandra suburb of Agra is the result of the tireless efforts of the devotees of Paschimpuri Colony. The history of the temple is full of miraculous, true and authentic events. In which the most popular event is the appearance of the charan paduka of mata. Due to which the importance of the temple has increased even more among the devotees.
Navratri, which falls in the Shukla Paksha of Chaitra and Ashwin months, is the most celebrated festival in the temple.
In the main hall of the temple, Shivling have with all the Ganas, Bhagwan Shri Lakshmi Narayan, Bhagwan Shri Ram, Mata Janki ji, Bhrata Laxman and Shri Hanuman with Ram Darvar, Shri Radha Krishna, Mata Kali, Akhand Jyoti, Mata Bhagwati, in the middle of the temple Mata Saraswati and vermilion coated Shri Bajrangbali is seated.
In the outer courtyard of the temple, Shri Shani Maharaj, Sai Baba, Mata's miraculous charan paduka, Maa Chandi and Baba Bhairav Nath are established.
