Sri Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir ISKCON is a Hindu temple dedicated to the Hindu deity Radha Madhav. The temple is located in Mayapur, West Bengal. The Mayapur ISKCON temple is situated in an area somewhere between the Hooghly and Jalangi rivers and is one of the nine islands of Nabadwip, the abode of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Nabadwip is considered a spiritual place by the followers of Gaudiya Vaishnavism. The construction of the temple was started in 2010. It is the largest Hindu temple in the world and one of the tallest.

The headquarters of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) is located in Mayapur. The city focuses on this particular Vaishnava religious tradition, with temples dedicated to Radha and Krishna or Gaura-Nitai.

The main attraction in Mayapur is the temple of Vedic Planetarium built by ISKCON which is the largest temple in the world. In addition, there is also the Pushpa Samadhi Temple of Srila Prabhupada, a memorial to the founder of ISKCON. The main shrine is surrounded by a museum.

Mayapur Chandrodaya Temple has 3 main altars, Sri Sri Radha Madhav, Pancha-tattva and Bhagwan Narasimha Deva. These Panch Tattva deities are the biggest deities of Panch Tattva in the world. The Pancha-tattvas include Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Nityananda Prabhu, Advaita Acharya, Gadadhara Pandita and Srivasa Thakura.

Mayapur is one of the nine abodes of the holy islands, which look like the petals of a lotus flower. The main attraction of the city is the Chandrodaya Temple, the first temple established by ISKCON in the region. Tourists can also pay their respects at the Samadhi of Prabhupada, who was the founder of ISKCON.

The temple can seat 10,000 devotees who can pray, sing and even dance in front of Bhagwan Krishna as per ISKCON temple customs.

How to Reach Iskcon Temple Mayapur:
ISKCON temple Mayapur is about 100 km from Kolkata. The nearest airport is Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport which is approximately 86 km (53 mi). It is easily accessible by road. However there is no proper rail connectivity. But it can be reached through Navadweep Dham station.
