ISKCON Temple Chennai, also known as Sri Sri Radha Krishna Temple, is a Vaishnav temple in Chennai. Dedicated to the Hindu Bhagwan Krishna, ISKCON Temple is located on the East Coast Road of Chennai. International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISCKON) Chennai is built on 1.5 acres of land with a huge parking area.

The deities worshiped in the temple include Radha Krishna Lalita Vishakha, Jagannath Baladev Subhadra and Sri Sri Nitai Gauranga. The temple is completely built on donations from the people of Chennai.
Huge Temple Complex:
The temple has been built with the support of contributions from around 8,000 life preservers and devotees. The cost of this temple built on 45,000 square feet of land is 10 crores. The primary purpose of the temple is to transform a physical self-centered identity into a spiritual identity of unconditional love.
The deities in ISKCON Temple Chennai are very grand and beautifully decorated. It is a very peaceful place. Temple Prasad (prasadam) is given free of cost at the place of exit in the evening. The temple has toilet facilities and also has a cafeteria. There is ample space in the temple premises for the quiet meditation of the devotees. It has a little playground for children. A good pilgrimage spot for occasional visits with ample parking space. From ISKCON Temple, you can also visit ECR beach within a 19 minutes distance.
The temple also displays various Vastu Shastra features. Here you can find books and souvenirs on spirituality and Hindu philosophy.
Temple opening hours:
The temple remains open from 7:30 am to 1 pm and from 4 pm to 8:00 pm. However, the final aarti (worship), called Sayana Aarti, takes place at 9:00 pm, lasts for about 15 minutes.
