Siddh Shri Prachin Hanuman Temple located in Aliganj, Delhi, is the most famous among devotees for fulfilling their wishes. There is no proof of the antiquity of the temple, but the divinity of this place proofs the truth. Devotees can feel the divineness of this temple by darshan of this place.
In the temple, from 5th April 2004 Shri Hanuman Chalisa Akhand Path began and according to Hindu Panchang it continued till one year that means for 365 days. Because of the divinity of this Akhand Path, Shri Hanumant Lal Siddh Peeth was established in the temple. Presently this Akhand Path being done regularly from 8 am to 12 pm and from 4:30 pm to 9 pm.
The fame of the temple can be imagined from the fact that the family members of the present Vice-President of India regularly worship here.
Under the annual program of the temple, there is Akhand Path recitation of Hanuman Chalisa in Kartik month. And weekly, Sunderkand is recited on every Tuesday from 7 pm to 10 pm.
To reach Sidh Hanuman temple use Jor Bagh metro station's gate number-1 . Shri Hanuman Temple is located very near to the shri Sanatan Dharm Temple in Aliganj.
