Hanuman Garhi Temple is a 10th-century Hindu temple located in the city of Ayodhya in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Hanuman Garhi Temple is dedicated to Bhagwan Hanuman which is located near Ram Janmabhoomi. Located in the heart of Ayodhya, 76 steps lead to Hanumangarhi, one of the most popular temple complexes of Bhagwan Hanuman in North India. There is a tradition that before going to Ram temple, one should first visit Hanuman temple.
History and Architecture of Hanuman Garhi Temple:
This is the same temple which Bhagwan Rama gave to his beloved devotee Hanuman to live in after returning from Lanka. Hanuman Chalisa and Chaupaiyas are written on all the walls of this temple. Hanuman's Mata Anjani lives in the temple, in whose lap young Hanuman ji is sitting.
One specialty of this temple is that the remains brought after the conquest of Lanka are also kept here. The temple has a special 'Hanuman Nishan', which is a flag approximately four meters wide and eight meters long. According to belief, before every puja the Hanuman Nishan is taken to the Ram Janmabhoomi place. Where it is worshiped first. 200 people together take this mark to Ram Janmabhoomi.

The temple is open for the entire week, with doors opening at 4 am and closing at 10 pm.
Aarti: Aarti takes place at Sidhpeeth Hanuman Garhi at 6:00 am, Aarti takes place at 1:30 pm.
Hanuman Garhi Temple Major Festivals:
Ram Navami, Diwali and Bhagwan Hanuman's birthday on Chhoti Diwali are the main festivals celebrated in the temple. Bhagwan Hanuman's birthday is celebrated at midnight on Chhoti Diwali. All the people of Ayodhya celebrate these festivals with joy and enthusiasm in Hanuman temple.
According to religious beliefs, if a devotee offers a red robe to Hanuman ji in this temple, he gets freedom from all kinds of sins. Here in the main temple there is also the idol of Anjani Mata along with Bal Hanuman.
