Ganesh Tekri Temple is Nathdwara's one of the oldest temple. Tekri means hill, which means hill of Bhagwan Ganesh. Not only this temple, the entire hill is dedicated to Shri Ganesh, due to the presence of this Shri Ganesh temple here since ancient times, this entire place has come to be known as Ganesh Tekri.
The main temple is built with white marble carvings, the red flag on the top of the sanctorum of the temple seems to establish the unceasing power of Shri Ganesh.
Along with being a religious place, this hill is famous as a tourist destination, picnic spot and view point. From here one can see the entire Nathdwara as well as the surrounding hills.
Trees and plants spreading greenery in the temple premises enhance the beauty of this place even more. From the windows made in the temple courtyard, one can see the Shiva idol in the fountain and the river flowing nearby.
Before reaching the Ganesh Tekri Temple, Nrinetra Circle and Shri Krishna Chowk seem to experience the divine atmosphere of the temple from a distance.
