As per ancient Puranas, Hiranyagarbha Siddhpeeth established since Treta Yug. Because of Shri Dudheshwarnath Mahadev's swarup(form) it is called Shri Dudheshwarnath Temple. This Shivling is believed to be worshiped before the birth of Sri Ram from Treta Yuga. And according to the belief, Ravan also did aradhana of Bhagwan shiv here.
Gaushala and the famous Gurukulam are also established along with the temple premise. Maha Shivratri, Kawad Yatra and Sawan / Shravan Mondays are the biggest festivals of the temple, under which lakhs of devotees come here to visit Bhole Baba.
A Dhuna Gaddi was established here in Samvat 1511 on the day of Vaikunth Chaturdashi. All the Gaddipati which means all chief Mahant's samadhi has been established in the temple premises. Name and tenure of all Mahantji have been inscribed on those samadhis.
In the temple's outer premise Shani Dham, Navagraha Dham, Gurukulam, Yagyashala, Gaushala and Sant Niwas placed. The new Bus adda metro station is highly convenient to reach the temple. And Ghaziabad railway station is located less than 1 km from the temple. As on the traffic point of view reaching the temple by bus, metro and railway are more convenient.
Mythology of Hiranyagarbh Dudheshwar Jyotirling!
Apart from Dwadash Jyotirling, there are many such Hiranyagarbha Shivling's, which are very amazing. Many of them are about to accomplish great miracles and desires and are enshrined in Siddhpeeths.
