Bhagwan Hanuman in Hinduism has always been a great devotee of Bhagwan Ram, he is also considered an incarnation of Bhagwan Shiva. Damanjodi is a city in the Koraput district of Odisha, the city has the world's second tallest Hanuman statue at 108.9 feet (33.1 m) located at NALCO Township, Damanjodi, Koraput.

The Damanjodi Hanuman statue stands at a magnificent height of 108.9 ft (33.1 m) from the ground. It was inaugurated in the year 2017 at Abhay Anjaneya Temple. In fact, the Shri Hanuman Temple complex, which houses a 108 feet tall statue of Bhagwan Hanuman, can be seen from any part of the city, as can the Ashtadhatu Wala Temple. The Hanuman idol is enshrined in the Nalco temple.
Damanjodi, about 36 kms from Koraput. It depicts Bhagwan Hanuman adorned with garlands, his quintessential 'mukut' and the famous 'gada', which was mythologically gifted to him by Bhagwan Kuber, which became his main weapon and is traditionally used by wrestlers till date and is worshiped by them too.
Bhagwan Hanuman's body is painted in creamy white color in the living idol. Fondly called Bajrangbali, the awesome translation of the name suggests that Hanuman is made of arms and legs as powerful as lightning.
The Hanuman statue at Damanjodi in Odisha is the second largest statue in India after the Veer Abhaya Anjaneya Hanuman Swamy statue in Andhra Pradesh. This sculpture was completed on 3 March 2017.
