Bullet Baba Mandir which is also known as Om Singh Rathore temple or Shri Om Banna temple is a folk deity, whose shrine and temple called Om Banna Dham. The temple is located in Pali district near Jodhpur, India, devoted to him and his motorcycle. The motorcycle is a 350cc Royal Enfield Bullet RNJ 7773. Hundreds of devotees turn up every day to pray for a safe journey.
History of Bullet Baba Temple
It’s a different temple and their is a bullet for puja. This temple is really based on true story. Bullet Baba Temple, has special significance as most people believe that taking blessings from Om Banna Sa & tieing a thread over the motorcycle and tree would protect you from Road Accidents.
Bullet Baba Temple is a simple shrine which is made up of cane and wood on a raised platform of 3 feet altitude. Most of the construction is an outdoor setting with only a roof on the top. This shrine contains a photograph of Om Banna and beyond that photograph the 350CC Royal Enfield motorcycle of Om Banna is placed on another raised platform it is protected with a glass covering and has a temporary roof which is made up of bamboo and cane. The covering has a sliding door through which the bike can be removed and washed every day. A huge number of temple bells are hung all around the shrine and decorated with huge bunches of flowers every day.
Om Banna Sa temple came into existence after a Mysterious incident. Om Banna was a Rajput & was driving his bullet motorcycle through the highway. He met with an accident after clashing with a tree & his motorcycle falled into the gorge and Om Banna lost his life. Local Police took his motorcycle into custody but found the motorcycle mysteriously at the same place on the next day. Once again they took the motorcycle into their custody & this time they put the motorcycle under lock. Another day motorcycle once again mysteriously found at the same place where accident took place. This made the place special & beliefs started. It is most popular among drivers passing through the place regularly.

Prayer and Worship at Bullet Baba Temple
The tree that caused Om Banna's death remains ornamented with offerings of bangles, scarves, etc. Offerings include incense sticks, flowers, coconut, red thread and sweets. An eternal flame is kept at the shrine.
Every day nearby villagers and travelers stop and pray to the bike and its late owner Om Singh Rathore. Those who pass by stop to bow their heads leave offerings in honour of the helpful spirit, and some drivers also offer small bottles of alcohol at the site. It is said that a person who does not stop to pray at the shrine is in for a dangerous journey. Devotees also apply the 'tilak' mark and tie a red thread on the motorbike. Local people sing folk songs in the name of Om Banna.
