The main objective of Shri Annapurna Mandir is to do selfless service of human beings. Keeping this goal in mind, food is served here in the form of prasad to around 150 to 200 persons throughout the day without any discrimination. This temple is the first Maa Annapurna temple written by Bhakti Bharat.
The marriages of poor girls, arrangements for showing the girl and medical camps for human welfare are arranged here.
This temple is operated by the hospital for the benefit of common people for periodic eye test and operation, heart check, obesity check, calcium check-in bones, dental check, sugar screening, blood donation, nose-ear-examination, physiotherapy camps, physiological diseases, general operation and health check-ups for silent deafs etc.
For the support of the Annapoorna Charitable Hospital, about 101 magazines are kept on the prestigious establishments of Meerut and outside the places of Meerut like Delhi, Mumbai, Guwahati, Kolkata, Ghaziabad and Dehradun. History of the temple:
On the revolutionary side of Meerut, in 1988, Brahmalin Param Pujya Swami Ramchandra Keshav Dongre Ji, Shri Rama Krishna Service Trust, Annapurna Temple, Ankhenshatra was established by Maharaj Shri K. Bhagwat Katha as the birth of Lord Krishna there was an atmosphere of rain, storm and heavy rainfall.
