In Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, on Bhadrapada Shukla Dashami as the Nirvan Day of Lokdevta Tejaji, the Tejadashmi festival is celebrated. Under which night awakening takes place on Navami Tithi and fairs are organized in the temples of Veer Tejaji on Dashami Tithi. A large number of devotees of Tejaji offer raw milk, Water raw milky coconut and churma to the temple.
During this, Tejaji's ride is taken out in the form of procession, after which Churma is served as Prasad.
Teja cattle fair is organized in the memory of Tejaji in Parbatsar village of Nagaur district. Veer Tejaji is considered an incarnation of Bhagwan Shiva. The legend of this fair is that Veer Tejaji was a Jat from the caste. He was very brave, fearless, service-oriented, sacrificing and ascetic.
