✨Lalita Saptami - ललिता सप्तमी

Lalita Devi is one of the most lovable Gopis among all eight Gopis. She was the eighth Gopi and their group of Gopis is known as Ashtasakhis. The other Ashtasakhis are Shri Visakha, Shri Chitralekha, Shri Champakalata, Shri Tungavidya, Shri Indulekha, Shri Rangadevi, and Shri Sudevi. All the eight Gopis (Ashtasakhis) displays the divine love for their beloved Lord Krishna and Radha Rani. Lalita Devi is known as the most loyal friend of Radha Rani. She has a pale yellow appearance and wears clothes like peacock features.

Lalita Devi had the extreme passion and dignity towards Lord Krishna and Radha Devi. Lalita Devi was born in Karehla village and then her father took her to Uccagaon. The place still has an appearance of the imprints of her lotus feet and utensils used by Lalita Devi and other Gopis to serve Lord Krishna. Sometimes, in the sunlight, the imprints of her lotus feet shine and glitter.

Lalita is the most devoted follower of Lord Krishna and Radha Devi. She was a constant friend of Radha Rani. She has only one desire of serving Radha Devi and Shri Krishna. Braj Bhoomi and Vrindavan are the most popular places where Lalita Saptami is being celebrated religiously. It is the most auspicious day of Lalita Devi's affection for Shri Krishna and Radha Rani.
