Phalguna Maas 2025 (फाल्गुन मास 2025)

Phalguna month is the last of the Hindu Panchang, followed by the Hindu New Year's beginning. Chaitra is the first month in the twelve months of Hindu Panchang, and Fagun or Falgun or Phalgun is the last. According to the English calendar, the month falls in February or March.
Importance of Phalguna Maas
Special blessings of Bhagwan Shiva and Bhagwan Vishnu are received in Phalguna month. Because in this month Mahashivaratri dedicated to Bhagwan Shiva and Amalaki Ekadashi related to Bhagwan Vishnu are observed.

Like the month of Magh, Dan-dharm has special importance in the month of Phalguna. In this month, pure ghee, mustard oil, seasonal fruits, grains, clothes, etc. should be donated to the needy according to their ability. By doing this, virtue is attained. Along with this, auspicious results are obtained by offering for the ancestors.

Phalguna month has special significance in Hinduism. Because Maha Shivratri is the special day of Bhagwan Shiva which falls in this month. Along with this, the festival of colors Holi also falls in this month.

In the month of Phalguna, apart from Bhagwan Shankar, there is a law to worship Mata Sita, Shri Krishna, Mata Lakshmi and Chandra Dev. It is believed that by worshiping these deities in this month, one gets relief from all troubles and happiness-prosperity, wealth-prosperity is attained.
