The famous Hindu pilgrimage center known as Char Dham is situated in the Garhwal Himalayan range of Uttarakhand. Chardham is a group of four holy places which include Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. Since 2014, the government has made registration crucial for a hassle-free process, and all followers receive a biometric card once the process is over. The card also provides special facilities to the pilgrims.
Devotees can now register online for Kedarnath Yatra. Kedarnath Temple will open on May 6 and advance registration is required to visit. It is to be noted that candidates must visit the official website of Uttarakhand Kedarnath Devasthanam Management Board to register online.

What are the documents required for Chardham Yatra registration?
To register for Kedarnath Yatra you will need your ID proof like Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, Driving License or Passport and Mobile Number.

How to register for Chardham Yatra?
❀ First of all, go to the website of Chardham Yatra. Register by filling the registration form and then click on the Register button.
❀ Then, a new window will open with a message asking you to activate your registered login information.
❀ You will then receive login information on your registered email address.
❀ Open your registered email account and click on the activation link to complete the process. After logging in, select 'Book Darshan' and fill in the required itinerary details and then press the Continue button.
❀ Then, a new window will open; Double check the dates according to the distance between the two temples; And then, click on the confirm button.
❀ Enter the details of the pilgrim and upload the required documents. Press the Next button and now the online payment gateway will start loading.
❀ After making the payment, the registration will be complete.
❀ Chardham registration and payment slip will be sent to the registered email address.
❀ Make sure you travel with a printed copy of the slip.

How to download Chardham Yatra e-pass?
To download the e-pass, you must first register for Chardham Yatra by visiting the official website of Uttarakhand Chardham Devasthanam Management Board (UCDDMB). Enter Biometric Registration ID (Registration ID with Biometric Scan) and Registered Mobile Number > Enter Captcha > Continue. If you do not have Registration ID, you can still download ePass by entering your registered mobile phone > Enter OTP to verify your mobile number > Enter captcha code > Continue > Download e-Pass.

What is a Yatri Darshan Certificate?
After a successful Chardham Yatra, the pilgrims will be given a Yatri Darshan Certificate mentioning all the details of their Chardham Yatra.

How to Download a Yatri Darshan Certificate?
To get your Yatri Darshan Certificate online, go to Official Link > Unique Registration Number > Registered Mobile Number > Submit to download the certificate. Finally, your Yatri Darshan Certificate will be downloaded on your device.

Offline registration for Chardham Yatra?
You can register offline for Chardham Yatra. In Uttarakhand, there are 14 registration counters and more than 50 other counters where you can register. You have to visit any place and wait in the queue for registration.

Is Chardham registration mandatory?
Yes. Registration is mandatory for Chardham Yatra, be it online or offline.
